If you’d like to be a part of the CJSA, there are many opportunities available that will enable you to start getting involved, meet upper year students within the program and have fun experiences planning events! If you are interested or have ANY questions, do not hesitate to email us at criminaljusticeatryerson@gmail.com or ask us on Twitter! Finally, if you see any one of us around campus, please don’t be scared to stop us and say hi; we are looking forward to meeting each and every one of you!
The CJSA hosts numerous events, such as our yearly Kingston prison trip, pub nights at local hotspots in Toronto, movie nights, charity events and exciting presentations and workshops put on by various organizations in the city of Toronto. We also have rewarding volunteer initiatives all year round, working with local non-profit organizations! Our goal is to make all students enrolled in the Criminal Justice & Criminology program experience the smoothest transition possible from high-school to university while offering many educational initiatives.
What do we do?
The Criminal Justice Student Association (CJSA) is here to promote and advance the interest of the students enrolled in the Criminal Justice program. Furthermore, we are here to help Criminal Justice students forge long-lasting personal and professional ties to make their Ryerson experience a rewarding and fulfilling chapter of their life. Additionally, the CJSA offers students a form of support throughout their career at Ryerson and an opportunity to relax, kick back and spend leisurely time with their fellow classmates.
